Volunteering is one of the most enjoyable things you’ll ever do. Not to mention, one of the most fulfilling. With your unique skills and experience, you can volunteer to be a part of the Kroc team that is positively impacting lives on a daily basis.

The ALS Association Massachusetts Chapter connects people living with ALS and their families to volunteers to provide services. We also host and participate in numerous fundraising, awareness, and information-based opportunities throughout Massachusetts. These activities create a multitude of tasks where volunteers can easily assist, including administrative work and mailings, helping at various events, and more.

We welcome volunteers of all abilities and ages. We’ll find a job that fits your interests, from light clerical assistance to collections scholarship, and events planning to garden management.

Our once-a-month distributions of grocery and other items are intended to bridge a gap for the more than 100 families who take advantage of our service. In response to the massive food insecurity problem posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we focus on sourcing, packaging and distributing Vital Meal Kits (VMKs). These contain nonperishable and well-balanced meals. Each food package contains enough food and nutritional value for two people to have three meals a day for 14 days.

Through this program, we distribute coats to veterans in need to help make sure that they are safe from the unforgiving winter weather. Coats4Vets is made possible through the generous donations from Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation.

We believe that the youth is among the most vulnerable members of veteran and military families, as they are affected by almost every situation and decision.
