Help maintain our gardens and landscaping throughout the spring, summer and fall.

People are needed to sidewalk for our various programs such as: Grand Traverse Horses 4 Heroes (All Phases), Hippotherapy, and Therapeutic Riding Programs and Lessons.

Morning feeds are around 8 am. Evening feeds are around 5 pm. Horse experience is helpful, but not a must. We will train you. Cleaning chores can be done around 9-11 noon.

Assist with special events, recitals, and/or concerts (planning or on the day of the event). Assist with mailings (folding, stuffing, addressing, etc.). Assist with fundraising. Provide refreshments for recitals/concerts.

Sew book bags! These bags are given to children at participating pantries, sites of family assistance, and WIC! Book bags are at the heart of our programs! Consider making one a week or one a month or whatever you have the time to do.

We have volunteer opportunities at our construction sites year round. No experience, tools or skills are necessary to participate – we will show you how!

We need more than construction volunteers to build safe, stable, and affordable homes. Building safe, stable, and affordable homes takes more than saws and nails. We need volunteers in office support, hospitality, photography, gardening, coaching, finance, interior design, and more!

Create a personal fundraising page. Organize a diaper or personal care product drive for our pantry. Collect books and board games for our Family Center Resource Room. Support a family we serve for the holidays by purchasing gifts and a holiday meal.
