Volunteers are needed throughout the weekend to help with all facets of the event such as fluid stations, on-course aid stations, start and finish line area. Donations range depending on the volunteer assignment and the adult to youth ratio the group is able to provide. All volunteers must be at least 14 years of age.

Hold a book drive at your school, your church, or even your birthday party. Your support and involvement helps us improve the lives of teens with low literacy. We’ll help you plan the details and arrange a time to pick up the books after your event.

We host monthly Community Garden Days at the 24th Street Elementary School garden from 9am – 1pm. You don’t need any gardening experience to join in- just a love of nature and a willingness to get dirty! Make new friends as you help us plant, weed, water, mulch and more!

Addressing invitations, sending out mass mailings, preparing hands-on projects for school groups, glazing/firing after a family event, helping out with show installations and de-installations, renovations of the rest of our facilities and other general office tasks all require volunteers. There is no minimum time requirement and a vast selection of jobs is available.

If you have a green thumb (or want one!), this is a great opportunity to get your hands dirty and help our large, beautiful garden grow. Great for groups!

Opportunities include: chaperone, help out back-stage, help out in the lobby (ushers, etc), help out with costumes (no sewing skills required), be a docent (answer questions, provide information), greet other special guests, donate healthy snacks and bottled water, or bring your friends and family to performances.

There are various sales and backroom jobs available for volunteers. ACTS Thrift volunteers must be at least 16 years old (children ages 12-16 may volunteer with a parent/guardian).
