Our volunteers make the Prison Library Project possible. They read inmate letters, select books and prepare books to be mailed. Each letter is a chance to connect someone “inside” with the community. Students are welcome to volunteer, however, we do require student volunteers to be 16 or over to join the Prison Library Project.

Represent Su Casa at various community events including health fairs, fundraisers, and educational events. Share information about Su Casa’s services with community members and engage the public in a dialogue about domestic violence.

ABC Learn, Inc. regularly receives large shipments of books which we distribute to children at local community events. Before these books are able to go out, they must be labeled and counted. ABC Learn is looking for volunteers to help with these labeling projects all throughout the year.

There are many volunteer opportunities throughout the year at the Neighborhood Music School. Volunteer tasks range from simple cleaning around the house and the school grounds to helping with repairs. The needs vary from month to month, based on what’s happening at the school.

This position is for individuals who want to assist Head Coaches or who want to lead a team of athletes through training and competition as a Head Coach. Administrative Support volunteers assist the department personnel by performing administrative support duties as required including filing office records, data entry, copying, shredding of documents, answering phones and other duties depending on experience.
