Second Harvest’s Food Distribution Center (FDC) at our location in Irvine is the place where we make it all happen. Our staff and volunteers work together to sort, package and distribute enough food to feed 250,000 men, women and children each month.

Help us restore the natural habitats of the Bolsa Chica Wetlands! Make sure to wear close-toed shoes, layered clothing, protection from the sun and bring water. Ages 6 years-Adult. Donations of heavy duty trash bags assist us greatly!

Through M4Kids School Clubs, Tutoring Programs and more, young people realize it’s never too early to reach out your hand. Volunteers can start a School Club, host a Drive, act as Event Support, or be a Social Media Mobilizer.

Help us to restore native habitats at Bolsa Chica by removing invasive plant species and installing native plants. Restoration volunteers will get a chance to clean up our wetlands with trash pick-ups and even occasional kayak clean-ups. Restoration volunteers may also help with growing native plants and educating the public.
