Our volunteers are part and parcel of the Fitton experience. Among other things, they help make our guests feel welcome at our shows, taking tickets and serving as ushers. They help our staff prepare materials for classes and workshops. They help handle large groups when we’re off site for outreach programs.
Volunteers are needed in numerous areas – ushers, office, auction, special events, art, behind the scenes, and youth programs – to name a few. You can volunteer as often as you like and in as many areas as you like. The choice is yours.
Volunteers interested in assisting in various duties that help maintain the interior and exterior of the theatre and costume shop: Planting flowers by the theatre, Watering flowers throughout the summer, Decorating for the seasons, Spring cleaning of the theatre, or Spring cleaning of the costume shop.
We welcome individuals, civic, school, or local clubs who may be interested in volunteering together. Our volunteers will help to keep the theater operating on a year round basis, creating a wonderful cultural destination for the downtown and surrounding area.

TRAM is looking for volunteers to help after school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3 pm to 6 pm. After-School Program volunteers help assist the program directors and invest in the youth in the program. Volunteers help with homework, snack, crafts, games, and monitoring the classroom.
We are now accepting requests for group volunteer projects at the HP! Please note that due to COVID-19 we are now limiting the group size to 10 people or less and that all activities will take place outdoors within the art environment or at our HQ at 3442 McDougall.
