Our volunteers assist with various jobs at the store including: accepting donations, sorting/organizing, pricing, running the register, and more.
Help with fundraising activities such as the Fall Foliage Walk, help maintain that ABC house, or serve on the board of directors.
Volunteer opportunities include: arts and crafts, horticulture, digital photography, teen peer mentors, musicians, technology tutors, and Special Olympics and unified partners.
Join participants during outings in the community.
Make a handmade gift for an isolated adult, mentor someone in need of a Jewish “big brother,” or spend some time helping out at a local food pantry.

Our winter 2022 programs are getting started and we could use a hand in creating art kits for our students.
We are a small organization, looking for volunteers to help us mow about half of our 1.2 acres. It can be regular or one-time. We have all the equipment needed! This is a 2-person, 4-hour job or a 1-person 5-6 hour job. If you can only give less time, we could still use your help.
Oak Street Senior Apartments is an apartment building for low income seniors located in downtown Flint, developed by Communities First, Inc. CFI renovated the historic Oak School, re-purposing a blighted structure and providing an amazing home for seniors.
