Help organize and implement fundraisers for the clinic.
Volunteers must be currently licensed in Virginia. A three hour minimum commitment monthly is the usual volunteer time. Liability insurance is held by the Commonwealth of Virginia when you are registered with the Office of Risk Management.
Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians volunteer to fill and dispense medications during evening clinic hours at our licensed, onsite pharmacy on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 6–8:30.
Psychiatrists, psychologists, counselors, and social workers may volunteer to provide mental health assessments, counseling, and medication management for Free Clinic medical patients during evening clinic hours on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 5–8 p.m.

Dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants help us care for patients during our day and evening clinic hours. We also rely on volunteers from UVA and the VCU School of Dentistry.
