Do you dance, have theater experience, want to share your love for art, sewing, crafts, or music? We could use your talents in setting up and creating packets to be used for grief group activities, collaborate and brainstorm ideas to use in group for creative crafts, games, making samples, setting up supply lists, etc.
Office volunteers would help with organizing, filing, labeling, copying, assembling packets and outreach materials, as well as providing general assistance to the administrative and program staff.
We’re looking for creative ideas and a team of people to establish events to help raise funds for the Children’s Grief Center. This team will organize events, create marketing pieces, gather needed supplies and create opportunities for the community to invest in making the Children’s Grief Center sustainable for the long-term.
Are you a good listener? Volunteers are needed to help facilitate our peer support group. Volunteers are skillfully prepared through our 15-hour facilitator training where they learn communication skills like Reflective Listening and participate in creative activities to connect and share with each other in training. These volunteers will help share the news about the Children’s Grief Center by distributing information and brochure packets to local businesses, churches, and organizations. Also by presenting information at our CBC booth at area events throughout the year.
