Our volunteers are part and parcel of the Fitton experience. Among other things, they help make our guests feel welcome at our shows, taking tickets and serving as ushers. They help our staff prepare materials for classes and workshops. They help handle large groups when we’re off site for outreach programs.

Collect orders as clients arrive for curbside delivery on-site at the Resource Center, complete walk-up orders, and help keep the pantry stocked during distribution hours. This position interacts directly with clients, requires frequent movement and lifting, and is often fast paced.

CASA volunteers get to know the child and speak to everyone involved in the child’s life, including their family members, teachers, attorneys, social workers, therapists, psychiatrists, and others, who are knowledgeable about the child’s history and/or current situation. Answer phones and work with consumers one-on-one to schedule their appointments. This position also assists with updating our online database as clients sign up and arrive for appointments.
Help unload the Food Gatherers delivery truck, sort and bag produce, and stock shelves in the pantry. This position requires frequent movement and lifting, and is often fast paced.
