Assist with setting up kennels, caring for animals and talking to prospective adopters.
Provide literature to the public on FAWG, adoption and spay/neuter programs.
Join us for the various volunteer opportunities listed on our calendar. Help with invasive species removal, landscaping, collecting litter, trail work, and other targeted needs. You can also teach water quality. (All ages welcome)
We are seeking volunteers with media and advocacy skills, graphic design experience, technical reporting and/or communication skills, or skills in targeted office support.
Greet and speak with groups, and you’ll learn new information to be shared.
Build a community around computer-science/information-technology education and a reason to be proud of living in West End.
Help us remove non-native plants, replace them with locally grown native plants, and pick up trash left at the Preserve.
Assist with typing, data entry, preparing monthly calendars, duplicating, etc. under the direction of Nature Center staff.
Hand out flyers and talk about the Nature Center and Preserve.
Assist in the gift shop. (Tuesday – Sunday)
