HNC hosts numerous special events and fundraisers throughout the year. Volunteers assist with event planning, registration, parking, ticket sales, decorating, soliciting donations and donated items, and more! Many of these events are ideal for high school students seeking community service hours. (age: 16+; commitment: varies by event)

We will need volunteers to help at adoption events where we meet and greet dogs with potential adopters. Adults and kids ages 13-17 are needed. Groups, families, and individuals are all welcome. No training necessary, waiver required. Adoption events are held on weekends.

Foster families enable us to pull animals from shelters who are at risk of being euthanized and provide them with a safe, temporary home as they await their new forever home. GMCLA welcomes both singing and non-singing members. Our non-singing section is known as the Fifth Section. If you are not a singer, or cannot make the time commitment, consider volunteering. There is always a need for people to assist at rehearsals, concerts (usher, sell tickets and merchandise), special events, and in the administrative office.
