College students needing observation hours or to complete a practicum are encouraged to complete the volunteer application and submit it in order to be considered for these positions.

This work-study program with Wittenberg University allows a Wittenberg student to apply for a paid job with us. Very few of these are offered each year and positions are posted in the Wittenberg Work-Study Office.

In partnership with local law enforcement, the Good Neighbor program reaches out to isolated, home-bound seniors to ensure their safety and build friendships. Volunteers receive training to recognize elder abuse and neglect and connect seniors with valuable resources.

Pick up loose trash; Pull bulk items from vacant properties down to alley line; Trim back overgrown brush and trees; Board up open properties; Paint over graffiti

Unpack and organize new diaper shipments. Count new diaper donations. Sort, organize and wrap diapers. Fill agency diaper orders. We have volunteer hours available the first Saturday of every month from 9 am – 12 pm.

This program offers a unique, personal connection to those who need special care for their feet.
