The Midwest Ohio chapter is looking for a Mosaic Chair to help plan local service activities with the adult and junior branch members.

The annual fundraising gala is the Midwest Ohio CISV Chapter’s main fundraiser for the year. That means “all hands on deck”! We need lots of volunteers to help with all aspects of this event, and we need your help, even if you can’t make it the night of the event.

The JB Co-Advisor works with the other Co-Advisor by meeting regularly with JB Youth Representatives. Work together with them to plan the yearly calendar. Publish the calendar and distribute to membership. Assist in the planning and execution of all events.

The person in this position is responsible for planning the Village hosted by our chapter in the Summer. This can be a shared position, with more than one person working as a team. Co-Planners are encouraged!

Responsibilities would include creating, editing and publishing a chapter newsletter preferably on a monthly basis. Assist the chapter with social media communications as well as sending media releases to local schools, radio, local papers and news stations. The Local Leadership Trainer (LLT) is responsible for training all delegation leaders, junior counselors, seminar camp participants, youth meeting participants who are 16 years of age or older; planners, directors and staff of programs hosted by the chapter. Provide training to the board and Junior Branch advisors and officers.

Are you a history buff? Join the fun and volunteer at our annual Fair at New Boston. Not only will you have the opportunity to learn more about our local history, but share it with others as well!

Whether you participate with the First Mad River Light Artillery with cannon demonstrations, or enjoy battlefield re-enactments, our group of volunteers are always at the ready!

USS has a wide variety of challenging volunteer opportunities for all ages. Some volunteers assist in administrative duties, while others provide hands-on services. Opportunities are matched to a volunteer’s skills and interests.

Historical education is emphasized throughout all of our events, and most specifically through our Speaker Series. Volunteers with an area of expertise to share are always appreciated.
