There are currently more than 170 nursing homes and assisted living facilities in the region served by the Dayton office of the Long-term Care Ombudsman. This office could not possibly serve the needs of these citizens without help from its volunteers, and they are seeking volunteer advocates.

Group volunteer opportunities are available during the fall and spring. Each year, Columbus Day is one of our biggest volunteer days of the year.

Volunteer can fill various Special Event roles, ranging from day-of event setup, guest assistance, raffle ticket sales, and event tear-down. Volunteer may also choose to be involved in pre-event logistics.

Opportunities include: General Hospital Volunteering, Hospice, Parenting, Spiritual Care, Community / Off-Campus Volunteering, Center for Exceptional Families, Patient & Family Centered Care, and Advanced Care Planning.

We are in constant need of volunteers at Community enCompass. No matter your skills or abilities we are willing to work with you, to help you get involved in your community.

If you are a church or organization and have a volunteer group who want to join in the great work of core-city Muskegon neighbors, we want to talk to you!
