Help us help the Los Angeles Community! The Better Neighbor Project hosts several free pet food pantries across Los Angeles each week, and we need help packing bags of food to hand out at events!
Provide valuable office and clerical support. Duties include filing, word processing, mailings, distribution of printed materials, research and data input.

Work with curators to to organize and maintain artifact collections areas. Occasional prep and setup for temporary exhibits. Supervised and trained by the curatorial staff.
Monitor galleries and other public places in the Center to answer questions and monitor safety and security of our visitors and artifacts. Conduct tours as needed, some of which may be pre-scheduled. Report to staff any misconduct in museum requiring immediate action. Supervised by the Director of Collections and Educational Director.
Work with curators to serve the public with walk-in, call in, written and web research requests. Work with curators to organize and maintain library and archives paper based artifacts and collections. Occasional research for exhibit preparation. Supervised and trained by the curatorial staff.
To repair, refurbish and upgrade exhibitions. Builders, carpenters, painters and other creators are welcome.
Essential to in leading school field trips and workshops. They may also help with curriculum research and development, arts and crafts preparation, and assist with programs such as summer camps and special events.
Assist with the staffing the Museum’s special events, including occasional evening events, fundraisers, holiday-themed events and locally sponsored free days.
