Volunteers pack groceries, receive food donations, stock shelves, sort food to maintain quality control and help maintain sanitary working conditions. You can also assist with clerical responsibilities such as typing and data entry, or organize and hold food drives.
NHSSN partners with over 30+ local nonprofit organizations and municipalities in reaching out to the community through a number of outreach events. These events allow NHSSN to spread the word about its programs, as well as build personal relationships with the community.
We have a special event each year in early November and need many volunteers for a successful effort: Scouting for Food is our largest food drive. You can volunteer to help us process the donations that day.
