And whether your available for a few hours every year…or a few hours every week, your contribution is important. You could help work on building and maintaining trails, monitor a section of trail and report…
Help with our gardens. We also have opportunities outdoors and indoors depending on the weather.
On Sundays’s volunteers go downtown to handout food and clothing to people who are experiencing homelessness.
The Center has many random projects that need completed. They depend on the group size and the ages of the volunteers.
Help pick up and deliver donations and process donations.
Volunteers are needed to help work with the animals, feed the animals and help keep the shelter clean.
Help is needed organizing donation events.
Pantry volunteers help stock and distribute food to the families that we serve, separate items from cases / bulk quantities at the pantry, help clients select food items during pantry operations, coordinate pantry food donations from member churches, and more.
The Holiday Program provides gifts to survivors and their children. Volunteers act as “elves” and “reindeer” who receive, sort, and package the presents each year.
