Assist in getting the animals to where they need to go. Additional transport opportunities exist to pick up rescued animals from shelters and transport them to one of our veterinarians for examination.

Be a trusted friend and guide to youth by developing a supportive relationship with them. Help ensure that the mentee develops important academic and life skills.

Help with special events, park maintenance, and improvement projects. We also welcome Eagle Scout projects.

Help support the critical work of the Hearing Speech & Deaf Center through general office support. Tasks may include filing, mailing letters, etc.

Help ensure that youth gain the skills and knowledge to explore college, entrepreneurship, and career exploration. We provide opportunities for youth who may go unmatched with other mentor organizations.

Become a champion of the Hearing Speech & Deaf Center! The organization seeks dedicated individuals to spread the work about our valuable services at outreach events and in the community.

Help provide resources and support to local immigrants and refugees that make them feel welcomed, loved and supported and offer programs to assist them with self sufficiency.

Help our staff with small group social outings for adults with developmental disabilities. These outings are 2-4 hours each in the community doing life! We attend sporting events, dinner and movie, go bowling, watch plays, volunteer, and many other activities. (You must be 21)

Pick up surplus food from our Food Donors (grocers, restaurants, etc.) and deliver it to La Soupe. Or, from La Soupe, deliver to our receiving agencies. Typically this will take an hour of your time.

Come to La Soupe and help in various ways – sorting, cleaning, storing produce, chopping and light food prep, or ladle soupes, smoothies, or applesauce into containers.
