You will accompany staff as they talk to youth on the streets; distributing food, hygiene supplies, and harm reduction supplies. Your primary responsibility will be to support staff on outreach.

Provide a meal for the young people living in a Lighthouse shelter. Meals can be made at home and dropped off or you can have food delivered.

Volunteers are needed to help teach, tutor and lead our guests through GED, Career Development and Life Skills courses. This is a long-term opportunity as each session of classes last 10-12 weeks.

At KDC our Direct Response Servant (DRS) works directly with our guest to help them with whatever it is they are in need of. If you are someone who is great at problem solving and helping others, we need you!

Volunteers who are handy and willing to assist with whatever’s needed from unclogging toilets to figuring out heating and cooling problems would be a great fit to help our maintenance team.

Volunteers with a heart for those in need can help our staff at night as they check in people who are staying at KGM, engaging them relationally to provide meaningful conversation, prayer, or assistance.

We need volunteers to help our elementary and early middle school aged children as they adapt to online learning for the school year. Work one-on-one with our students to assist their educational needs.

Volunteers who love being around babies can help in our Mission daycare, helping staff as they play games, read stories, teach basic lessons, feed and clean up after our young ones.

Volunteers will help with many tasks, including serving food, washing dishes, collecting meal trays, sweeping and mopping, and helping to sort and put away incoming food deliveries in our warehouse.
