This level of volunteering is for an individual who is not interested in being CIT trained or providing direct services to clients. This volunteer is interested in being part of the LVF family and giving back to the community by volunteering 2-10 hours a month.

Hands-on sewing and repairing of period appropriate costumes, support selection and fitting of volunteer costuming; work alongside costumer onsite and through email.

All volunteers provide direct support for visitor services through the Tallac Museum Information Desk, serving as a greeter, host, or through administrative support.

Supports general grounds, lawn, pathway, pond, fountain and irrigation system, tools & equipment maintenance; also supports Shoreline and Promenade trail maintenance of Resort area.

Provides direct visitor service in the Gift Shop and supports retail sales, merchandising and display efforts.

Supports exhibit and demonstrations for 1920s traditional artistry such as pottery, caligraphy, basket weaving, rug hooking and various artist mediums – sketching, painting and children’s art projects.

Hands-on horticulture work in the formal garden areas of both the Baldwin and Pope estates and the Pope Estate vegetable garden with Master Gardener direction.

Supports demonstrations, education and item sales; proof of experience and references required.

Welcome visitors and present the interpretative stories of the Pope and Baldwin Estates, Houses,Out Buildings and Gardens through tours, talks, and other interactions. Work alongside and support interpretative staff and volunteers.
