We host the Produce Perks/SNAPS program at the Yellow Springs Farmers Market and are seeking volunteers for managing the table. All volunteers get trained on how to use the machines and get to enjoy building relationships with the community.
Folks can expect a wide variety of tasks, including barn building projects, invasive removal, cutting and breakdown of brush, gardening and weeding, transplanting, and other general land care.
Summer session is seven weeks of field trips, swimming, service projects, talent shows and interactive educational days.

Homework help days and educational focused activities for 45 minutes then a Mindbender to get kids thinking outside the box, working as a team and just having fun. Parents and teachers provide two updates each session on their child’s education needs for teens awareness. Children are expected to bring in grade cards.
This service includes volunteers running errands for a member who needs items picked up from–or taken to–a grocery store, hardware store, the post office, donation sites, a neighbor, etc. When necessary, volunteers may deliver food ordered from local restaurants.
