Community events such as Treats and Trails, Macatawa Water Festival, Homestead Holiday, Maple Sugar Time, and the Migratory 5K Fun Run offer a variety of volunteer opportunities including setup, parking, wildlife assistant, and teardown.
Help clean the Macatawa River of trash, debris, and other non-natural materials, on foot or by boat. Anyone under 16 years old must be with an adult. Boats and equipment will be provided if used during the cleanup.
The ODC Network has multiple advisory committees to help provide expertise for staff on a variety of topics. These committees meet throughout the year and are an important part of how the ODC Network meets its mission.
This program is designed for 12 to 18 year-olds who will work with ODC staff on a variety of indoor and outdoor tasks. Time may be spent improving trails, removing invasive species, cleaning animal enclosures, or assisting staff at events.
