Foster parents provide temporary care for cats or kittens in their own homes. Some animals need as little as two weeks of care while others may need up to three months.

Head Start/Early Head Start is a Federal program for preschool children, ages 0-5, from low-income families. Current and prior Head Start parents and members of the community are welcome. We need volunteers on an ongoing basis to assist with child activities, classroom duties, light office duties, etc. Head Start has locations in Haverhill and Newburyport.

Due to the tremendous need that we are experiencing from our vulnerable population, seniors, we are in need of additional drivers to pick up grocery orders and deliver to the front porch of senior’s homes.

Bring Joy to a Homebound Senior! Do you enjoy playing cards? Looking for a lunch date? Volunteers needed for friendly home visits, transportation to medical appointments, respite care, errands and more.

Be part of a team of adult and youth residents planning and coordinating substance use/abuse prevention efforts and activities to raise awareness and decrease incidents of use, abuse, and overdose incidents in Livingston County.

Volunteers support client and fundraising events in many capacities. These events are normally held during the weekends but we do have weekday and weeknight opportunities. The majority of these events support group volunteers.

The Food Pantry volunteers set up our pantry to prepare for client shopping and then assist clients with their food orders.
