Camp Butterfly, Anti-Bullying Rally, Incredible Kids Day, and Christmas for Kids are annual events for which we need motivated volunteers.
During the regular school year (We follow Dayton Public Schools’ schedule), NBFY offers an after-school enrichment program for students in kindergarten through 8th grade.
Group volunteer opportunities are available during the fall and spring. Each year, Columbus Day is one of our biggest volunteer days of the year.
Assist in either spring or fall clean-up efforts at both our Bay City and Saginaw facilities. Help the CAN Council beautify its outside to match its inside. If you have a knack for landscaping and like getting your hands dirty, this is the job for you!
Volunteer can fill various Special Event roles, ranging from day-of event setup, guest assistance, raffle ticket sales, and event tear-down. Volunteer may also choose to be involved in pre-event logistics.
Assists in the organizing and sorting of donations for The Locker. Will serve as an associate of The Locker, greeting families as they enter the store and assisting them in finding the items they need. One hour of onsite training is required. Volunteers must be able to commit 4 hours/month.
