Mentoring a scholar means chatting or video chatting with them using our dedicated scholar chat software, meeting up with them for a socially distanced activity, checking up on how they’re feeling or how their homework is coming along, and so much more.

There are many ways to volunteer, and we are happy to talk with you about how you can help! We welcome volunteers regularly as there are a variety of tasks at the farm involving many different skill sets.

The Volunteer Team has a wide spectrum of interests: from aircraft maintenance, setting up & maintaining museum displays, maintaining the grounds and gardens, maintaining the display artifacts collection, to weekend volunteering as a museum and/or gift shop docent. We are desperately in need of docents for our upcoming ‘open season’.

To ensure that all cat kennel areas are clean and presentable to the public and that cats are well socialized, increasing their chances of adoption.

Teens ages 13-17 can make a difference for animals! They can choose to volunteer independently as their schedule allows, and participate in our Teen Animal Inspired Leaders Society Club. Teen Advocates can choose to participate in additional training, animal welfare and humane education programs, teen-led fundraisers, field trips, and social events.
