To help SICSA dogs enjoy time outside of the facility and expend energy, which helps make them more comfortable and adoptable at SICSA.

Foster Volunteers care for homeless puppies, dogs, cats and kittens in their home for a short period of time until the animals are adopted. We are happy to accommodate Foster Volunteers and schedules in a variety of ways.

To represent SICSA by taking adoptable animals into the community to attract potential adopters, as well as educate members of the general public about SICSA’s animal welfare programs.

Help plan a fundraising event. Volunteer on one of our event committees. Donate a prize for one of our raffles or silent auctions. Help us with office work, such as mailing newsletters. Ask your congregation to provide shelter space for one week.

To bring the joy and comfort of animal companionship to residents in nursing homes and hospitals with SICSA’s adoptable animals, as well as providing socialization for the animal.
