Discovery Cube Los Angeles’s volunteers commit over 30,000 hours each year and support almost all of our special events and programs. Volunteers engage guests at our exhibits- educating youth and promoting the joys of science, technology, engineering and math.

Valhalla Tahoe is a volunteer based nonprofit organization. We have a very small paid staff and rely heavily on our army of committed volunteers. It’s a wonderful community of folks and we would love your help too!
Come out and volunteer at the Bijou Bike Park every Tuesday at 6pm! We’ll be doing basic maintenance to keep the park riding good all summer long. Make sure you wear closed toed shoes and bring gloves to work in. We’ll be sweeping, watering, patching holes and keeping takeoffs and landings riding smooth.
Volunteers can raise awareness in any number of ways, from registering at a health fair or expo to talk to attendees about autoimmunity, to simply talking about it more in person or online.
Periodically at both the state and federal levels, legislation is proposed that impacts the autoimmune community. Volunteers can sign up through our VoterVoice portal to get notification when an issue comes up so that they can contact their representatives regarding the issues at hand.
