Piece by Piece participates in various events throughout the city, popping up artwork and making sales. Tasks involve sales support including wrapping artwork, processing sales via Square, and set-up/take down of booth space.
Our Education and Engagement Program hosts groups of youth and adults to learn about our program and engage in an art making activity. Tasks involve welcoming, directing groups, and supporting our artists as they guide the art-making activity.
Community Ambassadors attend health fairs and local events to share information about Planned Parenthood’s range of services and locations and to help dispel myths about Planned Parenthood. If you are interested in this role, you must attend an orientation which are held 3-4 times throughout the year.

Health Center Hand Holders ensure our patients feel comfortable and supported before, during, and after surgical abortion procedures in clinic. We are looking for calming and peaceful presences to support our patients. Volunteers in this position serve for 12 months and must be available on Thursdays at our Baldwin Park .
We occasionally need help in the office with specific projects. Projects vary and include mailings, research, cataloging, data entry, and photo scanning.
The Conservancy has an all-volunteer committee devoted to our Last Remaining Seats series of classic films in historic theatres. The LRS Committee is an annual group of volunteers who help Conservancy staff primarily in: Selecting, via a voting process, films appropriate for the series; Creating and implementing the pre/post-film programming, events, and displays./

Support a wide variety of museum teams. Work directly with our natural and cultural collections; organize artifacts, care for live animal ambassadors, prepare specimens, and so much more. Opportunities are dependent on project needs and availability.
