You will be matched a one-to-one relationship with a Little Sister in elementary school in Boston or Cambridge. Site-Based Mentoring Sisters meet at the Little Sister’s school during her lunch period or at her after school program site. Together, they enjoy activities like crafts, reading, playing on the playground, or conducting fun science experiments.

Host one of our committed students at your organization for 2-5 days a week for at least six weeks over the summer.
We are also looking for volunteers to work indoors to help sort the samples once they are collected. This involves sorting the inorganic and organic material, and classifying the microplastics into different categories and filling out a data sheet. Training is provided on-site.
