Volunteer judges listen to debates, offer encouragement and feedback, and determine a winner in each round. All are welcome, and no debate experience or knowledge is necessary. Training, support, meals, and networking opportunities are all provided during tournaments.

Assist in classes as a Computer Lab Monitor by supervising students / clients in open lab hours. Computer skills required. Or assist a regular classroom teacher during ESOL, job search class, or computer class.

Childcare volunteers assist with observing and monitoring children’s daily activities. Must be a Mandarin native speaker. EEC CORI required.

Social Worker Interns help with case management, advocacy, and resource development for the low-income clients that the department serves. Bilingual ability in Mandarin or Cantonese highly preferred.
