Drivers are needed to pick-up food donations from food banks, local restaurants, and grocery stores. These fresh food donations are a healthy addition to the standard nonperishable food items. Pick ups typically take place in the morning, but scheduling varies Monday through Thursday.

Volunteers assist the Agency by providing interpretation and translation (written and oral) for clients, families, clinicians, psychiatrists and the administrative staff. The primary role of the interpreter is to participate as a neutral party in the role as a conduit of information that flows between the clinic staff and the client and their family member(s)/caretaker.

Families Forward owns homes where families in crisis can live as they receive necessary services to get back on their feet. Occasionally, maintenance issues arise and we have a need for services from skilled professionals. In particular, we are looking for electricians, plumbers, contractors, and appliance repairmen who would be willing to donate their services.

Volunteers will assist staff with tasks such as opening, sorting, faxing, processing mail, filing, simple date entry/word processing, photocopying, reception backup, lobby assistance, setting appointments and reminder calls, answering phones and pulling charts. Volunteers may be asked to assist with Functional Family Therapy (FFT) and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy aide.

Volunteers assist the ACT/Outreach & Engagement teams by providing outreach and support to target participants, their families and their communities at large. Volunteers will disseminate program information through a variety of platforms such as community events, workshops, and presentations. Volunteers will also assist with case management.
