We need your help to install our new exhibit!
Our classes need supplies, volunteers help locate these supplies.
We need volunteer experts to help us with special learning initiatives. We can not fill all the expertise we need within our small staff so we welcome experts in our community to share their knowledge with children and make the museum a strong learning experience.
Serve alongside us in our local Cincinnati communities as we serve vulnerable children living in poverty or suffering from homelessness. We lead volunteer groups to go into communities or shelters on a regular basis to serve a meal, fill a practical need, play games and activities with the children, all while building sustained relationships.
We need someone who loves to garden and create learning areas in our garden for children such as composting, a bee and butterfly flower bed and all sort of fun learning opportunities. We need someone (or two folks) all summer long and you can create your own schedule.
Travel abroad with us on a service trip to India or Kenya. Spend time with our partners who are on the front lines serving the most vulnerable children in the world. Learn how transformational change is happening in children’s lives and their communities thanks to individuals like you and partnering organizations, businesses and churches.
Planning Committee volunteers network with municipalities, help with administration needs and get us ready to campaign for a permanent building!
Volunteers help staff at events with setting up and taking down of booths. Or they may assist during the sale with sharing the mission and artisan stories. They also help with packaging up products after a sale. Staff persons are always present at the sites and volunteers assist where needed. Off sites are fun, flexible…
The Board of Directors of the KidZone Museum is also a committed group of volunteers. Representatives of this group are parents, attorneys, child development specialists and nonprofit professionals.
Volunteers perform a variety of tasks in the store such as sharing the mission and artisan stories, unpacking new merchandise and helping restock the floor, helping with inventory and other retail tasks. Volunteers choose from 2 -3 hour shifts on days and weeks that are convenient for them.
