Between camp directors, counselors, youth mentors, instructors and other volunteers it takes over 100 people supporting our campers to provide a safe and rewarding experience for our campers. We have a variety of opportunities for individuals to help.

Volunteer to help with the Christmas raffle/craft fair, to serve food and drinks at the Christmas Lunch, and to prepare Christmas bags for home bound seniors.

Bingo occurs on the 3rd and 5th Sunday of each month. We need kitchen help and in the dinning room.

Very simply, our team is charged with finding lost or injured people, and if necessary, rescuing them. Being part of the team requires each member to train on a regular basis, so they may learn and so their skills remain sharp. The Adopt A Plot program through Hillside Cemetery Preservation Foundation allows volunteers to spend time in this wonderful cemetery, while cleaning and maintaining a specific plot. Work with one of several standing committees that steer educational programs, the Virginia Range Adoption Program, fund raising, etc.

HCPF is always looking for friendly volunteers to assist with the general clean up and maintenance of Hillside Cemetery. Each Saturday (unless otherwise noted) HCPF opens the cemetery for various cleanup projects. Also, various community cleanup days will occur throughout the year and will be noted on the Events page as well.
