A group of ladies using their talents and gifts creating quilts that are used to encourage others. The knots that hold the quilt together represent the prayers and concerns of our church family for those who receive it.
Most of the volunteer opportunities require little or no training. Your local league will provide you with any necessary training (as well as support and encouragement), as they deem necessary. Be the face of our church and volunteer to assist as a first impressions team member. Positions include greeters, ushers, connect desk volunteers, offering collectors, LS kids teachers, or LS students leaders.
Volunteer to assist with our Sunday operations including assisting with our safety team, service reset, cooking, coffee, service prayer, or preparing communion.
Assist students with free riding down slopes in the afternoons.
If you’re interested in volunteering off the slopes, we are seeking skills in: marketing/fundraising, accounting, IT, photography/video production, social media, writing and program coordination.
Help chaperone kids to and from ski school and lunch.
Help kids with rentals in the morning.
Hospitals and clinics are welcome to join our network so that we know whom to call when we have a case in your community. In addition, we are looking for volunteer veterinarians and tech assistants to go to places where the homeless congregate and administer veterinary care to pets of the homeless.
If you like artwork and would like to be a part of a team responsible for labeling and exhibiting artwork in Arts for All Nevada’s “Art Access Gallery”, as well as for special exhibits.
