The Group Volunteer Program is an employee engagement opportunity building stronger camaraderie, while providing employees with a unique way to give back. Your group can help with landscaping, trail maintenance, building projects, site beautification, and painting.

Groups can get involved by hosting a Clothing or Wish List Drive in your neighborhood. Groups also have the opportunity to customize a Volunteer project for your group depending on the current needs of Laura’s House.

Volunteers receive, sort, and tag donations of men’s, women’s, and teen clothing, and prepare the donations to be distributed to adults in need throughout Orange County. If you have an eye for fashion and love to organize, then this is an opportunity for you! This is a great opportunity for groups!

Most of our volunteers are clients who have received services, and want to give back to their own community. ABRAZAR also recruits volunteers through local churches, colleges, universities, high schools and service clubs. Volunteers are used extensively in the food distribution program and in the senior meals program.

Many of our guests rarely receive a home-cooked meal, and are very appreciative when a dinner is provided . You can schedule your family or group to provide a weekday meal. (We ask that you plan to feed 20 people)

If you would like to come and volunteer in a large group, or if you have any kind of specialized skill you would like to offer, or if you have any other questions about volunteering, please let us know.
