There are many ways to support the mission of Seacoast Community School with a gift of your time: serve on an event committee, become a United Way Reader, sign up for a United Way Day of Caring, help maintain our playgrounds and indoor environments, sort library books, and more!

Groups seeking volunteer opportunities require a minimum of two-week’s advance notice. Youths must be accompanied by an adult who is willing to supervise and work alongside them.

There are many special projects that occur throughout the year, driven by a volunteer’s interest, knowledge, and skill. Volunteers garden, work on trail maintenance, sew, construct things, paint, and more. We’d love to talk to you about how your special talents can help move the Center forward.

Everyone has a talent to share, and one of the keys to RMCC’s success is tapping into a volunteer’s skills and passion, and then matching it with our needs. A volunteer can help out on the day of a fundraising event, or may be more involved in the committees that plan them. Volunteers may help…

Our program locations are in need of help: Monday through Friday, from around 10:00 am to 1:30 pm helping serve, clean up, sanitize, package, general meal assistance, plus decorating the locations, working on holiday favors, helping with reservations, and more. Some volunteers come as a group and have helped paint rooms, clean closets, spruce up…

We welcome in-kind collection drives year-round. Organize a collection drive at your place of business, child’s school or other affiliation. It is easy and rewarding!

Invoicers make sure that the chosen books are appropriate and do not contain any forbidden items. If they are good to go, they fill out an invoice. People who can read at least at the high school-level, have legible handwriting and good attention to detail are great candidates for this job.
