Volunteers answer phones and record information including the caller’s name, address and payment information during breaks in programming.
Help with logistics for events.
Tasks include greeting visitors, answering questions, and assisting young visitors with activities. Volunteers also help with the general upkeep of the space.
Work directly with visitors ensure they feel welcome, informed about the collections and programs, and have an overall positive experience at the museum.
Volunteers are needed to help sign up families for our Holiday Adopt-A-Family program and/or distribute the holiday gifts to our adopted families in December.
Help with IPM’s fundraising and special events, such as the Annual Celebration Gala, Christmas In July Trivia Contest and more.
Volunteers are needed for poster distribution, mass mailings, etc. KSO annual gala silent auction and raffle committees.
Ticket takers, ushers, program distributing, box office workers and concessions/promotion workers are needed the day of show at venues such as Notre Dame Academy (October to May) and Devou Park (July to September.)
Usher for 5 plays per year in the more intimate Shelterhouse Theater
