Come out and volunteer at the Bijou Bike Park every Tuesday at 6pm! We’ll be doing basic maintenance to keep the park riding good all summer long. Make sure you wear closed toed shoes and bring gloves to work in. We’ll be sweeping, watering, patching holes and keeping takeoffs and landings riding smooth.
To increase the impact of litter removal we categorize and collect data on every single piece of litter that we remove from the lake.
For teens who meet and discuss how they can make a difference in their schools, with their peers and in the community. If you are a teen, 14 years or older and are interested, join us!
Support volunteers help LTWC in countless ways. They make our fundraisers possible. They help us prepare animal enclosures for our peak season each spring, then help us winterize them again in the fall. They assist with everything from heavy-lifting to stamp-licking.
Sign up as a member of a neighborhood Clean Team and pick up litter whenever it’s convenient for you. It’s as easy as going out for a walk! Volunteers will pick up litter in their chosen neighborhood and report the amount of trash to Clean Tahoe.
Assist with various projects, such as stuffing mailers and invitations, greet patients in other departments, and volunteer for events hosted by Public Relations, Barton Foundation and Barton Hospital.
Tahoe’s beaches are an amazing treasure, but they often suffer from overuse, especially during the summer. That’s why one of the League’s strongest volunteer programs is conducting beach cleanups throughout the summer and fall.
Volunteers of all ages and skill levels are invited to these fun, hands-on restoration days. By pitching in, you are improving the watershed habitats that surround Lake Tahoe. Healthy forests act as natural pollution filters to Keep Tahoe Blue.
