Campaign Volunteers support fire prevention and save lives throughout our region. Volunteers work in groups of three to install free smoke alarms and provide one on one education to families in their home during rally events or through installations by appointment. We provide the tools, supplies, and training.

Presentations are offered to promote our free Ready Rating website https://www.readyrating.org/ that guides businesses, schools, and organizations to become better before emergencies and more resilient after emergencies. By working with groups such as these, we foster both individual and family preparedness.

Presenters prepare adults through delivery of training on various topics such as local weather hazards, fire safety, and how to build an emergency preparedness kit. Volunteers offer 30-minute presentations tailored to suit the needs of the audience

No matter what your talent, interests and schedule are, you can help change someone’s life at the Y. Whether it is coaching a youngster in soccer or basketball, determining policy on a committee or the Board, or caring for a baby in our Child Watch Center, we have a place for you.

Volunteers are currently needed to assist in making sandwiches and cookies for the cast and crew on the Monday prior to opening night of an opera. This is a very long rehearsal day for everyone and the refreshments are sincerely appreciated.

Volunteer opportunities include: special events, leading programs, branch board of advisors, serving on special interest committees, youth sports coaches and referees, teaching skills, fundraising, office work, and maintenance.

Volunteers are critical to the success of the Miami County Right to Life Society, Inc. Volunteer help us with housekeeping, maintenance, parenting classes, letter writing, fundraising and more!
