Turn Back Time offers many opportunities for weekly volunteering. A few of our groups consist of agencies serving young adults with disabilities, college and high school clubs or community service projects and Boy Scouts and Girl Scout troops to name a few.
Come join us for Farm Service Day as we get the farm ready for planting season. We have many projects for the inexperienced to the professional. This is a great opportunity for teens to earn community service hours!
We always need people to help with repairs and maintenance of our grounds and facilities.
Spend a few hours sponsoring a recreational activity for our residents. Examples include movie nights, basketball or softball games, tennis, fishing, nature walks, and board game tournaments.
Help by sponsoring events for the residents of our housing programs, including but not limited to seasonal/holiday parties, cookouts, as well as the annual Stand Down in June and our annual Holiday Harvest.

With multiple active build site’s around Essex County, there are plenty of community service opportunities for groups interested in volunteering with Essex County Habitat.
Volunteer must be able to lift up to 45 lbs repetitively, must be able to reach overhead, and also some bending and turning.
