Volunteers help run bible studies, mentor and teach the gospel to men who are either in prison or a former inmate.
The snack bags are filled by a small number of volunteers on a Saturday morning, once a month, working in two shifts inside the pantry. Hours: 9–10:30am and 10:45–12:15pm
Help with seasonal maintenance i.e. raking leaves, cleaning gutters, etc. Time commitment of a few hours once every three-four months
Drivers pick up bags at the Newton Food Pantry and drive to Newton housing facilities to make contactless deliveries.Volunteers must have their own car and be able to lift 30-pound bags.
Volunteers help inside the Newton Food Pantry with set up and bagging for bulk delivery pickups.
The Northborough Food Pantry is run entirely by volunteers. We are currently accepting applications for volunteers interested in staffing pantry on Thursday evenings when open for clients and for special projects and stocking shelves during weekend food drives.
Volunteers bag nonperishable food and personal care products inside the Newton Food Pantry.
Volunteers work with a small team to unload 7,000 pounds of food from our truck. Heavy lifting is required in this role.
