Docents provide guided tours with a general overview of the gardens. Docent training runs annually March-April. Garden Ambassadors walk around the gardens, greet guests, answer questions, talk with guests about the gardens, specific plants and exhibits.

Weeding, dead-heading, pruning, planting, sweeping and other garden maintenance. Volunteers work outdoors in the formal and wild gardens on weekday mornings. April through October.

New Hope provides trained advocates to every survivor of sexual assault at Morton Hospital in Taunton and Sturdy Hospital in Attleboro. Survivors receive accompaniment, support, and referrals to heal in the aftermath of sexual violence. SANE advocates volunteer for on-call, overnight shifts.

Development and Marketing Volunteers are needed to assist with computer-based research and data-entry, as well as assist with the running of our social media platforms and analytics. Volunteers interested in assisting our Development and Marketing Department should have a background or strong interest in digital marketing and social media.

Discovery Cube Los Angeles’s volunteers commit over 30,000 hours each year and support almost all of our special events and programs. Volunteers engage guests at our exhibits- educating youth and promoting the joys of science, technology, engineering and math.
