We hold monthly book sales, alternating among the Paseo Verde, Green Valley and Gibson Libraries. The sales are held inside, and shifts vary from two to four hours. You can assist on sale day, or volunteer a few hours a week in the sorting of donated books.

We have volunteers sorting through donated books, checking the values, packaging and mailing out books that have been purchased through our online store at amazon.com

Whether you would like to donate your time working in the library or assisting the Friends of the Library by helping with outreach events and book sales, we have lots of opportunities for you to get involved. Stop by your local library to volunteer.

Volunteers are always needed at the Nevada Southern Railway and provide a variety of functions, from repairs and maintenance, as well as youth programs, restoration, and most importantly, give riders of the railway an authentic historic train ride experience.

We’re seeking passionate volunteers to provide peer support at our recovery community centers and on our recovery warmline.

The Street Outreach and Referral Programs uses outreach strategies and methods to identify, engage, refer and transport homeless and at-risk youth in effort to prevent or transition them from living on the street into a safe environment and/or independent living.

If you are interested in providing our homeless teens with a hot meal once a week, once a month or just on a special occasion please contact our Executive Director at 702- 215-4171.

First Friday event volunteers help with social media, parking, photography, guest services, set up and take down or anything else needed to pull of a great event.
