Volunteers will assist our Robin’s Nest Coordinator by participating with youth in monthly “Best Day” events. Group facilitators participate as active listeners, discussion leaders, and support persons in our bereavement support groups. There is no formal counseling or therapy as part of these groups. Michael’s Place is continually in need of assistance with general office tasks such as computer data entry, updating files and records, preparing mailings, organizing program materials, soliciting meal donations, etc.
In the field, volunteers may build trails, work on restoration projects, help control invasive species of plants, and encourage native ones.
