Our volunteers are caring individuals who contribute significantly to the daily functioning of the Medical Center by supporting our staff in various departments, and assisting patients and their visiting families.

NAMI In Our Own Voice (IOOV) is a public education anti-stigma program that includes a short video, personal testimony from two people living with a mental illness, and a question and answer period. The In Our Own Voice presenter will share their compelling personal story about living with mental illness and achieving recovery.

Creating and sharing content for our website and social media accounts, targeting key audiences and defining and executing digital and off-line marketing strategies.

Evaluating and giving context to available resources to get the right tools into the right hands, and identifying individuals, schools and districts who have experiences to share. Experienced educators are especially valuable here.

Establishing strong relationships with businesses, non-profits, educators and school systems to ensure accessibility and relevance.

Here at the Happy Hope Factory Volunteers are needed to help count, craft, and create the various components of our Happy Hope Bag activities that are then shipped to volunteer teams nationwide for assembly.

Provides support and assistance with logistical operations, i.e., paperwork, clean-up, organization, etc. This occurs either at a school site or at the After-School All-Stars office.

Programming volunteers work with children on a regular/semi regular basis in the areas of sports, enrichment, or academics. These volunteers provide essential assistance to programming staff. Requires a background check. Works on site at school locations.
