Office maintenance, stuffing envelopes, data entry, weeding the flower beds — less glamorous volunteering for which we are grateful nonetheless!

Volunteers go through specific training with their cats and dogs, who then are certified to comfort and give emotional support to our clients and guests.

Mentor2Youth holds events throughout the course of the year focuses on raising awareness, funds and bringing the community closer. We are looking for professionals like you to help us continue to hold great events that positive impact the local community. Examples of current events: Annual Bowling Tournament, Thanksgiving Brunch, Fun in the Park.

The development team is the lifeblood of Mentor2Youth. We launch various initiatives throughout the course of the year focused on providing the necessary resources, manpower and donations needed to continue our expansion towards building a School-to-Career Pipeline. Initiatives you might help out with: StandUp4Youth Campaign, Giving Tuesday, or Coffee and Conversation.

Our program taskforce is all about ensuring we maintain high quality programs an look to enhance what we do with our youth each year. Current professionals assist with: 1. Training staff and volunteers 2. Evaluating programs 3. Designing new components for programs 4. Researching best practices 5. Developing tools and manuals

Mentor2Youth is looking for individuals passionate about education and community empowerment looking to provide their valuable skills and expertise towards serving the organization. Board members may assist with: Public Relations, Program Development, Strategic Planning, Fundraising and Development, and Events.

The Wednesday Warriors are a friendly group of volunteers who have met on a near-weekly basis since 2002 to lop and chop their way through veritable jungles of invasive vegetation.

Your youth group, church, family or group of friends can organize a service project. Hold a bake sale and donate the proceeds to senior adults. Organize a toiletry drive or clothing drive to help incoming refugees.
