You can volunteer to help in the classroom, and support the daily activities and learning of the members. Some of the volunteer opportunities include: reading, tutoring, homework help, sports, painting, creative writing, STEM, science, cooking, yoga, or teaching whatever your unique skill may be.

You work alongside Master Gardeners in helping maintain the historic grounds of the Presidential Site. By mulching, weeding and maintaining historic plant species, you brighten the property and make it beautiful for guests.

You make the first impression by greeting guests, handling admission and helping with gift shop purchases. You use your fantastic customer service skills to offer information and answer questions.

You perform as a historical character in interpretive programs about the Harrison family, and may be invited to participate in drama presentations throughout the year.

You help research topics and artifacts for the museum staff; this involves research in the museum library and other libraries using microfilm and online. You transcribe letters to expand your research base, and may be invite to contribute writing for internal and external publications.
