Volunteers lead Raising FUTUREs workshops for parents/caregivers. Currently, training is offered in English and Spanish, with other languages forthcoming. Volunteer facilitators complete 3 day training before going on to help deliver workshops throughout Southern California, and are provided stipends to help defray their costs.

Volunteers support youth ages 11-17 beginning to become involved with the juvenile justice system by developing resiliency skills, emotional literacy, and critical consciousness. Volunteer facilitators complete 3 day training before going on to help deliver workshops throughout Southern California, and are provided stipends to help defray their costs.

As a MOSTe mentor, you’ll encourage a young woman’s educational and social development and support her along her journey to college and beyond. Mentors must commit for a minimum of one academic year, contact scholars at least twice a month, attend workshops, and accompany their scholars on college tours.

Coordinate the annual cookie sale at the troop level. Sign up for cookie cupboards, set up cookie booths, manage inventory and money, and then watch the girls light up when they earn the rewards for being the best cookie sellers ever!

Assist with driving, activity planning, snacks, money management, or other tasks necessary to keep the troop running oh-so-smoothly from week to week.

For those not ready to work on the farm, we can always use the help in other ways such as outreach, program support, and fundraising.
