Our Education and Engagement Program hosts groups of youth and adults to learn about our program and engage in an art making activity. Tasks involve welcoming, directing groups, and supporting our artists as they guide the art-making activity.

We occasionally need help in the office with specific projects. Projects vary and include mailings, research, cataloging, data entry, and photo scanning.

The Conservancy has an all-volunteer committee devoted to our Last Remaining Seats series of classic films in historic theatres. The LRS Committee is an annual group of volunteers who help Conservancy staff primarily in: Selecting, via a voting process, films appropriate for the series; Creating and implementing the pre/post-film programming, events, and displays./

The best way to help with preservation advocacy issues is to join our Action Alert network. You’ll receive email appeals for urgent action, typically writing letters of support and/or attending public hearings in support of threatened places.

Our center is a hub of anything is possible, transformational programming, love, nurturing, support, creativity, mentorship and inspiration. Whether you want to teach a workshop to inspire and share your gift with our youth or lend a helping hand and shoulder of support at the center or in a classroom, WE NEED YOU!

Provide services to homebound seniors such as meal delivery, grocery shopping, telephone reassurance and meaningful interaction, bringing warm food and warmer greetings to the elders of our community.

There are many opportunities for out of state volunteers, such as handing out brochures, organizing outreach events, setting up information tables, participating in protests, holding vigils and coordinating letter writing campaigns. Becoming a docent requires significant time commitment and training. Training takes place on an as-need basis, and we accept only a few applicants for each class.
